Catalysts and Conductors
« on: April 21, 2012, 07:51:24 PM »
Are they additive or multiplicative or zero?

If I apply a catalyst (+25%) does a second catalyst of the same type cause the increase to go to (25%+25%) == (+50%) or (1.25x1.25) == (+56%)? Or does a second one do nothing? Does the same apply with conductors, and/or catalysts mixed with conductors?

I'm curious because I have some free ones picked up in the lottery and want to use them the most effective way.

a second catalyst would just lengthen the time by another 24 hours.

Also, as far as I know, a catalyst and conductor would indeed stack the percent increase, but any 2 of the same thing only 'stacks' the time.

But would it be additive or cumulative -- 50% or 56%?

Hmmm, yeah that's a good question. I bet it would be 50%, but according to how the game is programmed, no telling how it may work out. Matt will have to speak on this matter.

If you use two separate items that both boost production of the same resource they are additive.
