What is going on, they have gone completely mad, here is one example of many;

Totally pointless in attacking !!

So don't attack that one and pick a different one. That one was possibly already hit once.

I did and it had not been hit as it appeared no more than 10 minutes before I saw it. Surely I am not the only one that has noticed over the past couple of days stupid defenses for next to no DSP ?

Matt - how could you possibly respond like that on this topic when in this one (http://forum.playstarfleet.com/index.php?topic=20630.0) you acknowledge they are broken...also, how exactly do they get broken when you have stated multiple times that BFG doesn't tweak them from time to time.  I'm not just talking about the defense swings either...

It looks like new NPC's are not being created. Areas where I usually see a hundred NPC's now have less than 10. It's like the per galaxy quota has been reset from 500 to 50 or less.

Yup, same here.  Looks like we finally chased the Krug, urcath and seekers out of uni 2.  I am sure bfg will respond with nothing has been changed and it is working as intended!  We are wrong again folks and as we only play the game we know nothing!

Tirade time:

Dear BFG,

1. Get the spawning fixed.
2. Why in the world would you ever allow for defenses this high? Makes the players angry and loses you money.
3. You corrected an issue with NPC techs on the fly! Why? Thank god (nature) my fleet hit minutes before you "fixed" this yesterday. I like the level playing field of zero techs and again makes you a lot more money. Which leads me to my next point.
4. Either allow all players to benefit from odd, zero tech npcs or stop allowing them for the top players. You're going to end up with only the top ten players in the universe giving you money (and only the bottom 7 because they are in some way receiving benefit from the top 3!). And absolutely please do not give me the utter BS that there are zero tech NPCs at all levels.
