Prior to the fix last weekend regarding the spawning rate, many NPCs contained large numbers of atlas, hercs, artes, etc. Since then I have not seen any of these NPCs--except of course at the 1 billion dsp level and above. I don't know what happened to make these available to more players, but whatever it was, please make it happen again. TIA

Seems to me that BFG are trying to finish off uni2 ..This uni has more or less become about hitting NPC's , the active players that are left are hard to catch sleeping :-) so as less targets appear more people will get bored and leave.

Heres a suggestion, move all active players to the new uni with their resources in tact ...surely this would be a relatively simple asset server transfer and a new IP address to log in to.

Or fix the damn bots :-)

I knew I wasn't the only one to notice the lack of npc's around at the moment, I checked over 20 systems either side of my planets in G1, G2 ,G3 and G4 and altogether found around 10 npc's, when I checked in G5 and G8 I found about 50. Problem is only 2-3 of them we're worth attacking.

I'm expecting the lower galaxies to have a huge influx of npc's popping up soon as it has been a few days already.

Hmmm this is probably related. We've been getting encounter messages for NPCs in G1 that don't exist. And there is a very apparent lack of them in the galaxy. Seems the system is trying to create them in G1 but failing.

You are not the only one, that much goes for sure. Today I checked G2 from system 1 to 295. Guess what I found? ZERO NPCs.
And in other galaxies I found much less NPCs than I was used to find until the last update. And they are much less worth attacking than they've been before.

I'm afraid BFG messed up the last update, and now they are having a hard time with trying to get this fixed. I do hope they will get it fixed soon.
looking forward to NPCs spawning like they did before!

Still, anecdotaly, there seem to be significantly fewer spawns than normal.  I'll check again tonight when the new spawn cycles seem to kick off ... but to sum it up, there hasn't been anything worth hitting in the past week.  Last Thursday was the last time I found anything with profit margins worth burning hydrogen on.

Please look into the spawn rates and ship distribution among spawns.  Feel free to compare it to weeks past - there is definitely something strange going on.

Spawns are back to acceptable ranges beginning with the cycle that began last night, and lots of them.  Don't know what the issue was, but something was definitely off for the last week.
