randomness is not an "issue".

Try reading about apophenia.

there is something wrong withg NPCs in all unis......

NPC spawns around 12:00 GMT, i set things up ready to launch.......

launch my attack 30 minutes ago....no signs of leaving.....the launch itself cost the equivalant of 100k credits and now it shows signs of leaving.....seriously WTF if npcs are only going to spawn for LESS time than they should, well frankly i wont be investing anymore.....and with the amount i do invest every month that loss will be felt

thats 100k credits at 5k per pop for 141Q hydro

its these little piss poor changes this greedy little company make just to say up yours to everyone that really grinds me.....

All the little pissant npcs that are just not worth squat are sticking around for days and days....but the ones that many players want to go for.....sheesh...spawned and despawned in a matter of hours

of course though....as always, bfg will deny anything and everything so long as numpties like you and me keep filling their pockets they don't give a shit

Agreed, Kru.

Unfortunately I re-upped credits recently, but I won't be spending them or refilling until this problem is addressed, my position on the leaderboard be damned.  More than anything, it is the lack of response and the condescending attitude from BFG representatives (Matt, I am specifically referring to you) that is problematic.

I should not have to point out what poor customer service this is; BFG cannot possibly hope to retain a userbase when you allow your representatives to treat your most active and loyal (e.g. those who post in these forums) the way Matt does.

I sure will feel it. It'll feel warm inside, I bet.

Seriously try and re-read sometimes the tone you use to "point out" stuff. If I were BFG I'd treat you worse and I'd have a couple ideas where you could put your super meaningful dollars.

If you have legit problems to point out, do it in a civilized manner.

.

why???? I have done that plenty of times before, and still had the likes of you, others and of course BFG on my case that 'nothing is wrong'

Hows that turned out for everyone? ? ?

So forgive me if i don't do a peace pipe with them and discuss an issue whilst sharing my best malt.....

there were some really smart players that complained that there were targets available with zero techs. they did not invest the same amount ot time and money other people had, so their fleets were smaller. because their fleets were smaller, they felt the players that had earned larger fleets should not be allowed to have those targets any longer because the people with smaller fleets did not intent to catch up, they just wanted everyone else to slow down.

therefore, bfg, in its infinite wisdom, agreed with the players with the smaller fleets that wanted to play for free and reduced their income and player loyalty by removing the targets.

sorry if i hurt your feelings nipple,

but anyone could hit the zeros in sfco... unless their fleet was so small it was too embarrassing to launch... ineffectiveness an all mate.

i grant the op was a different uni, but the wonderful people i mentioned removed zeros from every universe, from the complaintif's to mine which is why i posted on *your* thread. I am well acquainted with zeros, but for some strange reason they were never N to me ;).

The high end zero-tech NPCs were a bug. It needed to be fixed. BFG was right to do away with them.

The "0" tech npc may have been removed...but they are still very much there...techs mean very, very little.  The high end npc still don't have capital ships or higher defenses...so basically they are still 0 techs...ineffectiveness and all mate...

So again, you have no idea what you are talking about.
