BFG
I hesitate to complain. BUT I have noticed over SEVERAL YEARS of game play a very, Very, VERY disturbing pattern that has adversely effected not only MINE but I'm sure OTHERS game play and player development.
The DEARTH, THE ABYSMAL TOTAL ALMOST "DESERT LIKE" LACK OF Superior high range OR most times even >>ANY<< NPC's in MY ‎‎[24:250:00]; ‎‎[27:249:00]; ‎‎[30:247:00] of any competitive value IF at all.
WHEREAS... IN THE g6-g21 ranges where I have planets I almost ALWAYS have them.
Please don't assure me that the "algorithm" is "fine".
NO WAY is that true.
I don't want g6-g21 to Stop. NO, I want ALL to work the same.
It's almost like, if I didn't KNOW any better... Someone is making sure that those in the LOW RANGE have a competitive advantage?
IS that what is happening? Because I do know BFG employees ARE playing the game too.

***********************************************************
I wonder HOW they'll respond to this. I have NEVER complained {about this} before.

Npc's select a random player and are built using that players RSP. Therefore in areas where there are more players with larger RSP then they will be targeted more often and More high level NPC's will spawn in that area due to this.

BUT I believe that that's a lot of BS and responded with this!

Still Jason, by just statistical averages. There should be, far more in the areas stated than there are.
Otherwise that would mean EVERYTHING IS based SOLELY ON "Who" is were they are, thus giving the established older players far more leverage and only those who have gotten there and GROUPED THERE as the ONLY ONES getting preference.
Once again you are weighting UNFAIRLY the best morsels and not allowing EVERYONE a "fair go" at it.

density good. sparsity bad.

spawning algorithm reflects player base.

if you like your own spawns, build an array.

I don't believe that it does, and neither do any of the other dozens of other players that have seen and shared my letters...
You see, all I did was copy/paste this from what I had circulated around.
NO ONE believes, save for the "older established & in the g1-g15 areas players" that it's either fair right or in anyway good.
It gives away an unfair advantage. WHY should a player HAVE TO "relocate" just to get some decent APPROPRIATE {their range} targets? I have almost the SAME "situation" in my g6 location as I do in my g30. g6 sees CONSTANT TARGETS g30 is lucky to see ONE per day.

It's a game.

It doesn't matter if you think artemis should be stronger than proms or whatnot. If you know how the game works, ie that NPC spawn generation is linked to galaxy density, then you have two choices.

1. try and play the game the best you can
2. whine about how unfair the game is being to you because you decided your 20 artemis should have won against those 20 proms.

You,re not talking about a bug or an inbalance there, you've just decided you werent willing to adapt to a game,s preset rules and instead decided to whine so the devs would change it to fit your wants. Good luck with that.

Did you actually READ ANY of my post's?
Because NO WHERE did "I" mention ANYTHING about "Artemis"... and as to, as YOU put it 'whine(ing)".
I have pointed out a justifiable FLAW, benefiting a select few.
Sounds to ME as though YOU are one of those who are benefiting FROM that flaw OR just one of the lazy "developers" that don't want to do the work and make the game fair for ALL. OR maybe You're BOTH.
Either way NEVER accuse someone FALSELY or make stuff up as YOU go along.
Oh and by the way... since when has this game become such a PAY to PLAY game? "Move your Planet"
No more Facebook "Lucky Draw" credits... you guys are wondering WHY people are leaving the game. Your greed is the reason.

It was an analogy. I give up, you're hopeless.

Have fun being offended.

cav, it is frustrating to have fewer targets, i know. all of us know. having fewer players sucks too.

the spawning is based on player density. one of the justifications for that is to entice players to get closer together, which in turn increases the odds of pvp...in some form.

it's a game mechanic designed to encourage density.

it is expensive to move, but it is possible to abandon and start over for free. i know lots of bigger players that have done just that, and increased their fields at the same time
