Holy cow what have you done to the game?
« on: July 18, 2016, 01:25:28 PM »
OK, I am back after a prolonged absents from the game, well a few years and well, it's a little bit of a mess if you ask me. I remember when 1000 proms was considered a lot and NPC's were first introduced, when Bob was in the top 3 with very little DSP (I will get back to Bob in a bit) and Matt H was still trying to convince us that all the items for sale were possible with time.

Well I might as well start with the elephant in the room, Bob, what are you thinking? without checking I don't know if Bob is still using alts, sorry other users to post his hits or has he changed that? There was some gossip that Bob was employed by BFG, not sure if that was true, now there seems to be gossip that Bob was now selling resources, while some games allow for this I thought that was against T&Cs? however that's not really my problem, the problem I see is that Bob looks to be as big as the rest of the player base combined, now that's OK if you are Bob. however there seems to be a large number of players that are not Bob, however you have a universe that generates NPC's with Bob being in that mix, you are going to get a lot of NPC's that are just for Bob. so is it time to change it to Nova Bobs place.

Hydro you have to be kidding me, with the fleet I have to move it almost anywhere take a tone of hydro , I guess thats pay to play now?

Bob sells RES.. up to $300 RES packs that will get you into the top 5... and BFG is fine with it. The game is very much pay-to-play and why Im finally bowing out
Bob doesnt work for BFG though.... but everyone continuing in Nova is basically playing in Bob's sandbox and hes laughing all the way to the bank.

I cant fault Bob for selling resources. Ok maybe he should not do the $300 to get you to the top 5. Just to merch rez to keep fleets moving is very expensive. Alot of players do not have the funds and build themselves out of being able to play and r forced either to sell rez or if you have high storage merch for others keeping a profit. Bfg needs to come up with a way of getting hydro in game with changes to mines or making hydro part of a df or something bfg other than the merchant

I do not know what you r saying here. The hit you made on Queen and hit on Machine were bolt epic hits. You took time watching getting your times, moving fleets into place. You Got your prize and added it to your rather large list, of which I am a Member of. IT sounds like, and I could be Wrong. That you r Minimizing the hit on Machine because you do not respect the player( I could be wrong). I would add The Hit on Machine involved More Risk Than the Hit on Queen. Machine's Fleet was not on a moon. The attacking fleets were open to oracle scans for more than 4 hours. Exile would Have diffidently made a  play to lock the returning fleet, Had I not been one of the attackers. (maybe that why I got a invite) To add further Risk That guy could have pulled his ship at the last minute and when the music stopped I would have been left with no Chair and my fleet would have been destroyed. So I say Both Hits Epic and Players deserve their Props.

I can, even more so after getting a spam message from Bob offering to sell res, no Bob, I didn't like you at the start of this uni and I have seen no reason to change my mind

Yep, I agree, I have one hydro processor at Level 90, and it doesn't really do beans to produce enough hydro.  Merchant exchange is really the only way to go.  Although I wonder what kind of hydro 450 Trillion Thans and recyclers would  take (see earlier today!) to travel even in-system!  I don't really mind merchanting for hydro, or buying res packs when I have the time and/or money to do so, but not everyone can do that.  I share pretty freely when I am able to, hopefully it keeps some players able to play a bit.  A lot of players simply can't operate when there is no hydro to be had through conventional game means!
