Retirement party
« on: February 09, 2013, 02:52:31 PM »
I am going to have a retirement party - but unlike some parties we have had here, no one is invited.

I am moving all by heph ships to Drogon in 1:21 then sometime later today will blow the lot up myself.

This is due solely to the players that are desperate to win that they cheat, you know who you are, you are the same ones that will be surprised in season three when there are only a few players.

When you are adding the fact you won or came second in a tournament to your CV I would leave out the cheating bit.

To the rest of you - wow, most of it has been fun, I wish you all well and keep safe.

I commend you for going out with some honor. Sadly the other type outnumbers the good ones here.

To be honest I think limiting the game to over sixteen's would really help.

Nah .. you cant qualify a whole generation .. lol.  My son has played for 4 years .. since 14 .. and done just fine ...

“And he who wields white, wild magic gold is a paradox. For he is everything and nothing. Hero and fool. Potent, helpless. And with one word of truth or treachery, He will save or damn the earth. Because he is mad and sane. Cold and passionate, Lost and found”

If you believe someone is violating the rules, you should submit a ticket.

Do it all the time. All I've ever gotten was a "We'll look into it" and then I end up using their cheat against them to blow up the fleet. I understand facebook is nice but... i'm getting tired of the espionage message alert script.

We do not generate notification on Facebook when someone is probed in game. Further, unless the game is being refreshed it is not possible for any kind of alert script to function.

That's good to know, Matt. Was wondering about it since so many peeps come online AFTER I launch at them. It gets frustrating. At least, if they have to monitor the game all the time to be alerted, it makes me feel a BIT better.

Red alert simply puts a banner saying "You're under attack" under your planets and displays concurrently with the triangles. It is good to see an attack coming if you don't have the screen at the top. You can get it at eljercode.com and test it for yourself :)
