Im so tired of people whining about this 5000rank free for all thing. It isnt true. Yes your fair game for more people then before. But the top people aren't able to bother you.

Im in the 300 ranks, I cant hit people below 2500... Your not gonna have the major major players knocking your laser turret off its stand.

Stop refering to this 5000 rank.  :evil:

Ships used = ships missing. Instantly upon my probe... how very odd... and his other planets still aren't active.

It is very questioning to see this. One might think that some bot was doing the missions for him... or other missions... in fact I really wanna raid the guy blind before I do anything else but then how do I report him?

Lol, and behold about 25-30 later guess what ships are back?
4 recyclers and 2 athenas and 2 ares... how very... interesting.

Does the sight of (!) make you want to attack a person even more?  :shock:  Or I'm I just alone in this feeling?

I have nothing against the sight of (d!) but the other... It only really annoys me when it happens right after I probe someone. They run before even seeing my attack (which i wasnt going to anyways) I guess I have to raid them now so I can get something before all the resources are unaccessable.  :roll:

Geez, At least I know that Im not competing with the rest of the system for the hit on that one guy but seriously 14 d planets? and it is 5 different people too.

The idea is to help each other out, and to do things together. And of course to share the good battle stories over a keg of Bloodwine.

No need to be a star trek fan to join  ;)

The current plan is to get members all over the universe.

I remember that little check box on the attack window "Group Attack" and I thought wonderful I could invite people if I wanted to by clicking on the check box. However it seems that now all attacks are group attacks and I will get a message for every single attack (regardless of anything I do) saying that I can invite people to join my group attack. Thats funny... I don't recall wanting to share any of the resources on the target... I don't recall needing help to destroy a few athenas... I don't recall making any group attacks ever... and yet there it is. Sitting there in my inbox.

Every single attack. Every single one puts this message in my inbox. Well... shucks. I think I might just invit... NO! I do not want to invite people to attack my target.

PLEASE BLUE FROG GAMING give us back that little option of the little check box in the attack window. A message after I send an attack with a group attack check mark is one thing. Its like those annoying computer programs that try to think for you. (you know the ones, the ones that think you MUST have meant something else, sorta like those automated checkout lanes that you need a person to help you with anyways)

*sighs* Yes I could delete them each time, and I do. But I question if it is really necesary to send me a message each time I attack? I'm I just not intelligent enough to click on a check box if that is what I wanted? The idea is an insult to the players intelligence, we can each click on a check mark if we want to do a nonstandard attack.

I have no problems with group attacks, but the fact of the matter is to this date I have never needed to yet. When I need to, I think I could manage a little check box for the occasion.

I respectfully request that the check box be placed back in the attack windows and fleet screen, and to remove this automatic group attack and corresponding automatic message. Thank you.


The first few times I thought I had been probed when I saw messages (1)... nope.
Just Spam. Unwanted, Not Needed, and Irritating



[edit] It seems that Blue frog gaming is working on this, Sorry about getting so worked up. its just that it is the weekend and I've been playing for about 8 hours now. And I was attacking alot :) and these messages were annoying me. If a mod could close this that would be appreciated.

I mean how can you tell if there is a bot running for a player? I'm sorry if this has already been asked or if its some sort of trade secret... totally against cheating but how do you know?

Feature Suggestions / A few ship ideas...

I noticed the names are based on greek mythologies. I would be happy to see a dangerous ship called the Tisiphone Class. Besides it is a less common name to use. After seeing all the other gods names, I thought I would suggest a few. I see how this game could have so many ships in it. It would get very strategic quickly.

On that thought I had an idea for a raider class of ships. Low cargo the idea was the cargo space would be that it is problematic for holding fuel*. A new engine would be an explanation for the new high speed; Plasma Projection allows the creation of displacement engines, prereq. High Particle Tech and high plasma tech (the most advanced tech on the list currently).

The Erinýes (or Furies) would make a nice hard hitting revenge weapon. The idea is to destroy fleets not plunder in this case. Would fit in well with the variable attack plan idea that I saw on here. Hit and Run... et cetera.

Tisiphone (avenging murder) would just be an awesome idea for attacking only to destroy ships and defences. The fast speed so that it could overtake the fleet that attacked its world.
