*staggers into the press conference smelling of scotch and dressed like a cheer leader*
Right here it goes *coughs* I announce that I am not authorized to be the public relations person: total bs division. Furthermore I shall propogate the syndicate system of wealth and recycling and make up stories about monkeys being used as torpedos. Come to think of it using monkeys as torpedos is a cost saving measure.
Now moving on. *takes a swig of scotch*
P...prophet is...up...money flowing into my coffers. Yeah im in D mode SO WHAT??? SO WHAT IF IM IN D MODE??? *Throws scotch bottle at a news camera*
Serious note, I took over the miss kiki account, renamed jabra pride.

john PM me your coords, i just picked up an account in this uni as well =) i traded my x2 account for it. needed a safety net called D mode for when this new game comes out
-
sure will, havent logged onto this board that often, didnt see this, but gimme a sec

Im now the official boss/don/master/overlord/lord/queen/king/overking of the syndicate because Tarro has some shady dealings with a gang of unsavory penguins that are plotting the overthrown of the antartican regime.
That being said we want new blood...that is all.

So how does one go about joining an alliance? And as a noob, I feel no embarrassment in asking, what are the benefits of being in an alliance?
I am a pretty new player, and I'm just figuring things out (tearing up the wiki as much as i can). I have figured out that this game is akin to crack.

Alliances are a great way to learn different game strategies, meet other nerds, and drama..not necessarily in that order. This game is fun solo but if you ask many of the veteran players its the people that you meet in the game that keep you playing long after you might have otherwise stopped.
If your new(ish) you might try for a training alliance...not sure who that would be in Uni2 but maybe Pro...if your into drugs, midgets, and sex stories then the Syndicate is a good choice but I'm not sure what their rank requirements are (if any).

LAst I knew all we have at the Syndicate is an age limit - 18 and over, adult content. Well, that's not true either...as there are few that are really truly adults....the rest of us behave badly and some mothers object. So do some parents.

hmmm...yeah penguins..thats it!!!
umm..what day is it? where are we?
good job Jabra!!! you been hitting my private collection of scotch again???? what do i always say????
you cant drink scotch without me!! well thats what i would say anyway..if anyone would listen....
Hey new guy...you gotta be 18, have a great imagination and be a sexual misfit for Profit....but if you wanna learn how to play..the Pro is prolly a good idea

Thanks for the honorific, "new guy".
I'm over 18, but wish I wasn't.
Thanks for the responses.

Shadows is also recruiting. While we're not a "training alliance", we've trained people in the past and it's a generally helpful, knowledgeable group.

I appreciate your response. Perhaps I should build up a bit before I join, as I would definitely have a ton of questions and really wouldn't be able to contribute much. I imagine it's tedious teaching noobs.

Ok, i'd like to offer up my noob services.
I'm available for tar and feathering or whatever initiation rituals are required.
I'm also 32 and like long walks on the beach while holding hands.
