Did you plan to go active during Christmas break at all, or are you going to stay in D mode?
 Amazingly, you're only the second person to ever make that comment. I don't FRS since I'm in (d) mode, but I do when in game mode.

I'm unsure. I'd like to get more active and perhaps leave diplomacy mode, but who knows?

Huh, I'm sort of the opposite of you in this respect. In SFCO, I played in game mode. It was a slow start but proved to be exciting and I did a lot of things - made my way up the ranks, joined several alliances, became an officer and then leader of it, had my own little empire going on, etc. However real life distractions as well as the time constraints the game placed on me eventually made me quit.

Now I'm in Uni2, playing in diplomacy mode. Why? Because of said time constraints. I started sometime before my fall semester of college got really hard on me. Being able to just log in once every couple of days was refreshing and I still was able to build up my little empire. Granted, it's slower but that's alright, because I'm not trying to move at a fast pace as I was before. Plus, in SFCO I regularly attacked and profited off of active players who didn't log in every day, and I don't want to end up like that.

General Starfleet Discussion / Re: Petition

As I told a user who helped out by moving names erroneously put on the Sandbox page, I'm not for the new universe being opened. However, I did not sign the petition. The reason being that I don't know the thinking behind BFG doing this. Perhaps this is a way to make more money, granted. However, I've also seen others state this is a good way for those who are rock bottom in other universes to stand a chance at climbing the ranks.

This is disturbingly similar to what happened in *inferior game*, but hopefully BFG will know then to stop spamming us with universes.

Formerly from western New York state, now living in a little scar of civilization amongst the farmland in southeastern Kansas... the nearby lake is larger than this city. :D

I really need to set up a website to show off my stuff (and a tip jar). Been meaning to do that for the past 8 or so years, but never gotten around to it...

OCH is fine too...

I'm sure you could just set up an account on Deviant Art or the like. Or you could get a free Web host and get your own site like, etc. I think there are plenty of them who offer templates so you don't have to do the HTML coding. If you wanted a custom design, well I stink at design but I'm a good Web programmer so if I had enough time I could set up at the very least a basic site with links and stuff.

Ending the Tycoon series? Keep Hockey Tycoon please... :)

And the completed picture where those black hole eyes were from.
Makes me think of the Spice Girls for some reason. But it's my starfleet big sisters. <3

Edit: This is my 600th post here. o.O

Very nice indeed! :D

Oh Google, you amuse me so. And you're very useful too.

However, I still refuse to side with Google[Bot].
