How do you figure? I've never paid a penny for the game but in conquest I was able to unlock Hephaestus in the first month and there were people who didn't pay ahead of me. If the tournament is even faster I bet you could get quite a bit done, especially since there are territories.

In Original Universe, this guy drove me from the game with the assistance of his alliance. Now in Conquest I found a small satisfaction in relieving him of his moon.

He took a Zeus with the moon. I sent six attacks of single Zeus and the first was a bust.

I've never personally thought about that but I think it deserves some consideration.

Now hold up. While I understand that 50% of the debris invalidates defenses, it DOES get people to attack each other even if there are defenses. I see people complain about turtles all the time and why are we complaining now in something that keeps turtles fighting just like everyone else? In conquest defenses make 20% debris and as such I don't really build any (many). While this makes some people annoyed who want protection, I've left millions out ( perhaps I shouldn't say anything..) undefended while I'm offline and fleetsaved and no one really seems to attack unless you have ships down or spare hydrogen.

Kinda cool idea but I see ninjas becoming pointless and a lot more people just throwing their fleets away since there's no point in defending unless they take no losses. This further makes defenders (turtles) worthless and gives attackers safety net.

Meh, I dunno about you but I hit NPCs and Territories mainly for the debris they create. If territories carry into tournament 3 (and I imagine they will) then people will just nail territories for the debris fields so I don't see a point to this change. And of it applies to territories too then that does affect the top players (see other territory discussion)

It's gone?! O.o I guess moon destruction is even more far fetched in tournament 2 then. At least you can move Zeus for defense if nothing else with a warp gate!

And it gives you a way to get someone back if you really REALLY dislike them... And have billions of spare resources. I think with the faster speeds in conquest (and the NPCs/territory debris fields) it might be a more common thing for people to try. Two hours for a Zeus at Warp 8 isn't terrible when you're attacking an undefended moon (or maybe I'm wrong). Albeit, anyone would think twice about a gated moon but I imagine ideally you'd attack when you think someone is offline.

Yeah, seems to me that someone would only do it if they REALLY didn't like the person. That being said, overnight seems safest because you may not have to deal with the other person's fleet. I was just wondering about this the other day though. Has anyone actually been successful?

The universe vote idea is ridiculous.

A) No one would agree
B) Not all players use the forums TO vote
C) That would require many to start over AGAIN
D) Why would we go to a slower or faster universe if we like the one we're in

I understand your idea and it's a great suggestion, it's just not going to happen though. I for one, regardless of any hypothetical vote would stay in conquest. Having come from original where everything was much slower, three times faster speeds are amazing. Not to mention I like the new ships (though I miss me Apollo friends).

Also, in regard to the NPC skewed complaint, in conquest people are complaining about how they're all (n) so it's unfair that newbies get them even though the formula scales the NPCs. What's the point I'm trying to make? People will always find something to complain about. I appreciate that NPCs provide no DSP and, especially with the territories, have fleets that require some assistance to take on

Matt has already said that people should band together and help new players so why don't we just give that a go?

Either refresh the page until it goes through from the in-game support section or go direct to zendesk, create an account and submit a ticket there.

And the moderators need to sleep too so don't freak out that its not fixed instantly or think that the support tickets will do no good. Matt said it was pretty late when we was working on it earlier so don't be surprised if he's not on and they're not working on it right now.

Yes, we're disappointed at the previous attempt but let's just get our fleets out for now (or hunt if you're brave/crazy) and weather it until the servers are fixed.

I'm curious as to the cause. I sent a support ticket in about the freezes as well and requesting them to save my fleet if they could. Then magically, it got through on the 13th try.
