Nearly two years passed without incident... then the troubling dream returned once again.

I just left Vegas yesterday morning.

Happened to be the first passenger of McCarran T3. They took a photo of me checking in, wearing my Hades print T-shirt.

We've got a '98 Renault Megane. I ain't a fan of French cars either, but that one was pretty much passed down to us as sister-in-law's family upgraded to a bigger car, and our old Mazda was rusted to the point of falling apart.
I don't drive it that much, though. I get conveniently everywhere I need to by bike or bus, hubby uses the car much more. Converting only units of volume and currency (and ignoring general price levels and that kind of things) gas costs $8.3 a gallon here, and parking space in the city is sparse and expensive.

When I got my licence I pretty much learnt to drive that Mazda I mentioned. It was just one year younger than me ('89) and the only automatic thing in it was broken. 4 gears forward and one backward. That car was a family member adn I was heartbroken when we had to give it up. My sister, who studied to be an automobile mechanic, thought of that Mazda as an insult to all things that have four wheels.

As for a dream car... a Lada. Preferably an older one. I have a thing for Russian cars. Its value doubles triples quadruples when you fill the tank, nobody's gonna bother even trying to steal it and if it starts in Siberia, it'll start in our winter as well. Maybe paint it pretty colors.

Took me at least 4 months of procrastination to draw Phil Sutherland.

I think the ineffectiveness rule is done on base scores, so it is irrelavant what the tech levels... Or I could have made that up..!

That's correct. Techs don't matter; once ineffective, always ineffective.

So, yeah... the idea I had for a Christmas greeting picture ended up being me trying to bite more than I could chew. I started in November and tried to draw... well, most if not all people I have met via Starfleet. But I ended up spending all my energy at work and didn't get almost any drawing done.

So, I don't think many of these people play SFC anymore, but... anyways. Happy holidays to everyone pictured, and to those not pictured as well.

Merry Christmas. :)

Wow! Thanks! I'm going to have to see if I can hunt that movie down :)

Edit - took 10 seconds and it's officially a free download. How cool is that?

Yep, the movie is a free download. It's spoken in Finnish, but subtitles are available.
The guys are the same ones who are behind Iron Sky.
