General Starfleet Discussion / Re: Eljer scripts
« on: March 31, 2018, 03:22:48 PM »
I use tampermonkey with firefox and this is my fix for all scripts.

Open firefox
In the top right corner is an icon for on it
when it opens the drop menu, click DASHBOARD
this is your scripts...on the right of each script is a edit and edit
it will open the script with an EDITOR tab...
click on EDIT and then REPLACE ALL...
type this into the replace all box that pops up    http://
the next box is replace with, type this exact    https://
click on file then save

If done correctly you will see a padlock icon under the feature section on the dashboard.
ALL DONE...repeat for all other scripts and restart firefox.

Bug Reports / Re: Heph destroyed by Athena's
« on: December 04, 2017, 12:45:25 AM »
This is the last sentence under the Ineffectiveness Rule on the WIKI for Heph. I would have never thought Athena could kill a Heph. This is a reality in any of the SFC universe. Just keep increasing techs and you will win.

it seems increasingly likely that an active Hephaestus could be destroyed by a fleet of fast ships, especially, perhaps, Athena.

Bug Reports / Where is it going?
« on: January 02, 2014, 09:14:48 PM »
I sent my heph to dock at one of my moons. I decided that I did not want to do that, so I recalled. When I recalled, the Heph had a 7 hour return. However, on the fleet page it shows my heph fleet continuing to the original docking moon. How is this possible.

Bug Reports / Re: Nova NPC issue?
« on: September 02, 2013, 03:37:36 PM »
The game is supposed to choose new players each day for serving as the "template" for modeling the relative number of each type of ship, and the relative number of each type of defense (the actual numbers are independent of these "template people").

I found this in another thread. This means that the NPC algorithm is looking at only the new players and trying to give them a chance to hit the NPC. This is BS.

Nova Universe / Re: Question for all

ok I will go with that. Sounds wierd but it is believable. How does the attacker know what slot I will be landing in? He can look at my previous track, but I don't land in the same slot each time. I also travel 3 galaxies sometimes and sometimes 20. And how to determine my speed is in question too. I will use 30% or 40% or 50% depending on when I go to sleep. I am just pissed I lost my heph within 1 minute of landing.

Just a simple question. I have a heph and I send it to another location. I send it at a slow percentage to save hydro. My heph lands and within 1 minute gets destroyed by another player. How is this possible?

The other player did not probe me, know what percentage I used, or what slot I was going to. My screen did not show an incoming attack but I got a battle report. Any one have any idea this happened since you cannot attack an empty slot.

WOW!!! I like the updated tech page now. It looks better and the full indes is the old tech page. I think I will like the new way the ships and missions and all the other stuff is presented. I enjoy looking at the pictures. Thank you very much BFG for listening to your loyal players.

I agree with klinghorn. I play nova on a regular basis but I have not unlocked any of the large battleships. However, All my tech's are open and am now researching ARCnet lvl1. when I get finished I want to unlock the hades, proms, athena but which tech to level up first. I have to click on the hades and write it down on a piece of paper. Then I click on hades and write it on a piece of paper...etc. I hate having a piece of paper next to my computer at work with the tech tree. What if my boss ask me about it. BRING BACK THE OLD TREE PLEASE. I cannot simply put it in a notepad document because all my files are stored on a central server.

I can't tell what I need to do next when I scroll to the bottom of the new tech screen. I can either look at the pictures or look at the missions. I can not do both so I do not know what I need next for a mission. I prefer the old way. AT A GLANCE was better.
