Feature Suggestions / Re: Let's brainstorm...
« on: September 30, 2015, 03:59:03 AM »
How serious should we take this topic or request from BFG??

This topic was started on the 9th of Sep, with Matt H having replied several times that day and once on the 10th. Since then there has not been a single response to any post/suggestion by anyone from BFG (Unless I totally missed it, but pretty certain I did not). It is now the 29th/30th and this thread has not seemed to go anywhere with them as far as acknowledging player support to improve their product!

I'm just glad I read in silence, as I'm no longer offended by their silence to their own requests from the players. Or at least that's how I feel about it.....

The owner of a adult store had to go out of town for a meeting and asked the worker to watch the store and would be back at the end of the day.....

A few hours later a black woman walks into the store and asks the worker, "How much for that white dildo?"....

The worker replied, "This one?"...

The black woman, "Yes that one."

The worker, "75 dollars....."

The black woman replied, "GREAT I'll take it!"....

She pays for it, he gives it to her and she leaves.....

A a short time later a white woman walks into the store and asks the worker, "How much for that black dildo?"....

The worker replied, "This one??"...

The white woman, "Yes that one."

The worker, "75 dollars....."

The white woman replied, "GREAT I'll take it!"....

She pays for it, he gives it to her and she leaves.....

A few hours later a polish woman walks into the store and asks the worker, "How much for that plaid dildo?"....

The worker replied, "This one???"...

The polish woman, "Yes that one."

The worker, "75 dollars....."

The polish woman replied, "GREAT I'LL TAKE IT!"....

She pays for it, he gives it to her and she leaves.....

Now at the end of the day the Owner returns and asks the worker how the day went.

He replied, "Well I had a black woman come in and buy a white dildo for $75, then a white woman bought a black dildo for $75, and then polish woman came in and bought my thermos for $75!"

Sucks for us, but that was one Big Ass BOOM!

Congrats to the players involved, well done.

Bug Reports / Re: P Mode Bug?

Not that this will shed any light on the issue I did however send in a ticket to BFG regarding this issue and this was their reply!!

Jason, May 7, 08:53:
No, there is not a problem with neutrality markers.

Blue Frog Gaming Support

I believe the issue is not the markers itself as they seems to be functioning correctly. It is something causing the account to cancel or knock a player out of their marker

Well it appears, through some facts and some speculations, that there is a bug within the game that effects a players account. The extent of this issue is still unknown at this time.

From my understanding, of what I was told, is that in one players case while they were in P mode and away from the game (would have been the middle of the night for them) their account ESP'd three (assuming newly spawned) NPC's knocking that player out of p mode leaving them open to attack resulting in a lost fleet and then some. Now here is the kicker to this (and where the suspected issue lay's with this), the players account ESP'd !!!WITHOUT!!! actually sending probes out.

Now if this is happening, at what interval / player selection is unknown, would it be save to assume that all players (using p mode) could be effected and knocked out of 'P' by this?? If that is true then another player ( or players) may have already been effected by this.

In the case of this other player, that player is NOT claiming that in fact this happened. Just that there is reason to believe this MAY have happened as they strongly believe that their marker was set to expire at a later time then it did. IF this issue did in fact happen again to this other player it resulted in a lost fleet as well. Now before anyone wants to assume that this will be used to reclaim that lost fleet hold your assumptions for later. IF this issue did not happen then again this would just be another case of a missed marker ending. EITHER way the player is not asking (and has stated this to BFG and others) for the lost fleet back as there is no 100% certainty that it was this potential issue that caused the loss.

If in fact this issue is real then EVERYONE is at risk to be effected. And to those who may wanna think, well why is it just AA players that this has happened to?.... Well it has only been confirmed (by BFG's actions to return a fleet) that this has only happened to one player and not player'S. Hopefully BFG with look into this issue and confirm (or refute) the issue and fix whatever it is that is causing this to happen so that nobody else comes back to their account to find a disappointing surprise!!

Bottom Line, either way in this case of our players, congrats to the attackers on finding, launching, and landing the hits as they were sitting.  But I truely hope that BFG looks into this seriously as it could effect the whole game more then just the player base currently still playing.

Again this is just my view and interpretation of the information I received. If I am wrong and posted the wrong information then I hope that those with the facts correct me for the benefit of the players still playing in this uni.

Congrats on spotting, launching, and landing yet another big hit this Uni has had the pleasure of seeing!! Just sucks on our end that it was one of us that got hit!

As for the other issue that has been brutally blown up into a 'BS' frenzy... I'll save my thoughts about for it on Fides' thread in Bug Reports so this thread can hopefully get back on topic!....

Again nice hit!,

Not everyone loves P mode, but you should appreciate that here is a situation where the P mode failed. Nard normally p modes, but for whatever reason did not add it Tonight.
AA and Frozen do have a rivalry,  but it's still a game, congrats to Andy in keeping the no 1 spot.

Quoted from Sam Carter

For her to stay classy on the boards after everything that happened between the few directly involved in the  AA & Frozen rivalry and not to assume why Andy wasn't in pmode, I will say congrats to you and the others for landing the hit, well done.

As you say this is still a game and I hope at some point things can get back closer to the way they were before but I know that personalities and cultural differences will probably never let that happen, but one can hope it will at least get better.

yea - not working right on my lumia 800 either - it just stops at etc etc - after you enter your credentials.

this happened similarly on my iphone as well, went to stand alone site, clicked FB login, it auto-opened new window and stopped at VAnna's reference above, I switched (tabbed) back to stand alone window and refreshed the browser and it let me in....

maybe (hope) this helps with others having an issue...

So what about those times when there's an odd number of debris? Like for example someone will have 706 or 111 crystal in debris next to their planet.

I think it's the mathematical matrix  annomolly manifesting itself to bring the code back into perfection!!! LOL

I have had this issue for 3 days now. thought it was just me though. I had to uninstall and reinstall all my stuff and when I reinstalled TimeLive that same issue started with me....
