Original Universe / All out War

I propose creating 2 temporary, but dynamic alliances that then duke it out in an all out,  NO p mode , NO d mode, NO bracket restriction war say 1 billion points....

picking teams would be simple ...sign up and then at team picking day ...from top rank down ,alternate players  until everyone is assigned tag dropping and no res dumping thats it for rules ...real war ...

i am sure the smart guys can develop it better , but i would love to play that one ......

also NO penalty for d mode p mode infractions other than removal from the war..., leave at any time other than under attack , but no coming back ...(no new recruiting)

any interest ... ????

  Dawn crept slowly over the bow of the dark grey mass as it emerged from the dark side of the moon. This over sized astroid had been useful as a cloak ,since coming out of warp 40 minutes earlier and had proved indispensable as a place to stage the forward attack units.
  All were being launch with missions of direct consequence, however only one would see any action ....according to plan .
 As the command platform eased out of the shadows into full view of the enemy, a slow almost inaudible bass tone began to sound throughout the platform. Reverberating in all directions it halted the menial tasks being performed by the ships crew and set in a place a frenzy of focused activity.
  "Ensign, launch forward attacks and make sure to set the attack time to their planet ahead of the moon attack .", Commander Christostomos belted.....his patience was short lately with his second in command.  "forgive me for asking sir but if we intend to recall both fleets, is not your last order superfluous ?"
  Rolling his eyes the commander  in a glaringly condescending tone muttered , "He may allow the planet fleet to land . in an effort to  ninja the moon attack,  ", "either way we recall the moon hit "
  "All planets are now showing no activity, and their mobile attack platforms have landed in G9:84 , they are probing their target now...... "Excellent , according to plan so far" , Christostomos grins. " He thinks he is undetectable on his heph and the bait fleets are in motion .
  Time to launch the main attack fleet , Be sure to leave enough to be plausible as the entire fleet , and make sure the fleet is cloaked as soon as launched  , we will recall it when needed "
 " As you wish sir " , A faint smile spread over the commanders lips many times he had used this ploy, and so many failed attempts, maybe this time would be different .
  "Commander , the enemy is showing activity according to the latest scans, it appears he may be moving his fleets out of harms way ...."
 " No matter let them ride, we will recall a few minutes before the attack lands to give him time to organize a possible counter attack, he may intend to beat our fleet back to base.." , "Yes sir".
  "Recall the forward attacks, " Christostomos ordered, " the timing is good, he will have his attack in place by now , if that is his intention."
 " Now we wait".......Tension mounts inevitably on the bridge as all planning comes down to this 5 minutes ....will he launch.?????
  Yes , Commander . all sensors indicate an inbound attack fleet measuring the mass and quantity readings of 150 million prometheus......
  A cheer rises from the crew on the bridge as the commander slams his fist on the console of his command ,  "enough.....we have only begun ...initiate the sequence to recall  the main attack fleet ,
we land 4 seconds before him, thats an order"....."by your command Christostomos"
  "he will try to slow his attack , maybe multiple times and probe multiple times, leave the variables open to time our landing perfectly." ........"as you wish sir"
 "Now,  launch everything, make it look like we are locked, take as much hydro as you can , make it look like we are abandoning ship ...
 " 5 minutes........ ,launch the empty escape pods...... here we go."
