of course it does, but this isn't a terrible idea. it's already somewhat tough to get the jump on someone who is online all the time. this could be a nice advantages to attackers to make things a little more balance.

two changes that could benefit the defender, however: 1. an even slower "stealth speed" which woud be 5% speed. At 10% now, in-SS, it takes ~6+ hours. Making stealth time consuming could favor it being used selectively.

2. Penalties for neg. espionage values from the formula. Penalties could be translated as a defensive bonus for the "more prepared" defending planet. Obviously an attacker could simply cancel the attack at that point so with something like this i would also suggest a res. cost to "activate the cloaking device".

Ummm....ok? It's rare to see someone who DOESN'T want stickies...

However, I don't see how you not noticing the new feature means it isn't good. In fact, if you sticky those important convos, they never go away and are now up front! The feature you are complaining about is the answer to the problem you mention!

so you go into diplo in the morning, play in the evening, and fleet save at night, and go into diplo again?

i agree that the dynamics of diplo mode need to be investigated but i don't think like this.

in that scenario you can only be attacked....when you're online? I think effectively it would be the same as sitting in diplo all week except that you'd be flying your fleet around at night....whoooopeeeeee!
