1. We (Exiled) noticed Retired (Viper) account change name to 'meee' about 12 hrs before these battles take place and was in range of our top accounts. New target for the first time in months, did you honestly think a weakness in FRS or pmode use would be missed? our alliance chat then called for no additional probing to watch for activity. Probe Debris and activity from Ox and Kirk meant we had others who had noticed. 1.254 had DF and we thought that was Kirk since he is in system and was active and its kind of obvious who is hitting who when nearly everyone else that could of been hitting him was pmode. just a little bit of observation goes a long way here.

2. 2 bil thans is not alot and is easy to kill with ~0 losses (don't believe me take a look at and see what we kill, then whimper when you look at what Bob kills to sell Mike Graham res... btw new target guys and mistress K!)

3. Exar Kun was really hoping Kirk would harvest in 1.111 so he could lock the harvest return... But the pmode was unfortunate... and we all hope all is well with the doctor because after all tis a game.

FYI Kicker is just the term we use for thans/Zeus that are hidden in harvest mission or ready to be warped in for battle.

I've always felt top 100 players should have no protection from anyone and N/n protects those in between top 100 and newbie status sounds like a fair balance.

With DSP scaling it's really more advantageous to be able to join in on action against someone higher ranked than you over trying to hit someone alot smaller than you. I personally wouldn't bother unless there's over 10 mil dsp or a significant dro profit.

There always will be enough hostile ships out there to take you, it doesn't matter if it's just enough or massive amount of overkill that the top players possess. You are accountable for your ships, it's why you can frs (or use pmode) so people can't take your toys while you're away.

Feature Suggestions / Alien Ship Build Time-Hired Guns

Many players have suggested that the alien space dock needs a way to speed up ship builds, particularly for when you want to build hep/Z/thanatos

How about an alien build tech or maybe one for each alien race (Krug Build Tech, Reverse Engineering Urcath Tech, and Seeker Ancient Knowledge Tech)?
since the different alien species have different levels of advancement with the seeker being most advanced and the krug being only just better than human ships, give the krug the largest increase since it would be 'easier' to build their ships faster.

example levels
20% per level for Seeker (@level 10 approximately 10% of cost and SY based build time)
25% per level for Urcath (@level 10 ~5.6%)
30% per level for Krug (@level 10 ~2.8%)

I personally like (45% Krug, 40% Urcath, 35% Seeker)

For those that like math, the formula for the build scalar would be
 ((1-x)^n)*(b)
where
x is the percent/100
n is the alien tech level
b is the build time based on cost and shipyard level (with droids if present)

Foundry (construction) at level 10 is about .1% so the planets will still be advantaged in ship building but it would make the building of the big ships more bearable (and in the hep's case able to be completed before a territory expires)

The longest lifespan I've seen for a dock is around 200 hrs
I believe 545 hrs would be the time for the hep to build at SY 10 (no droids)
10% of this is 54.5 hrs, much more reasonable (using the Urcath tech outlined here)

(before I get yelled at for suggesting to actually build a hep with a level 10 SY, I was using level 10s as examples)

i tried to upload the xpi, and it gave me 3 errors from mozilla's add-on check

versions supported, type and unique name
the versions supported error is mozilla no longer supports versions older than 23 on mobile
the other 2, I am unsure of how to fix because I don't know enough about the coding language

I tried installing the timelive script using the build from url option
mozilla mobile v 26.0.1

it generated a file which was automatically downloaded and i see no way to install it as an add-on

I'm seeing if it will allow me to upload the xpi and download through mozilla

if it works i'll post a link

We'll be changing the tech requirements on the Dionysus back to Jet Tech and the Triton will be fixed to have a Warp Drive.

will it be Jet Drive level 6 like the older uni's?

I have not unlocked it to verify (working on gaia) but the tech tree has the ship info to click on and it says jet drive.

hoping this is in error and it is intended to be warp, that'd be cool...

So i noticed dino require warp 3 to unlock but still have jet as drive... that seems a bit strange to me

I understand the shake up in techs but would be inclined to think a jet driven ship shouldn't require the more 'advanced' warp tech, maybe a pulse or warp driven ship requiring jet

just my thoughts, liking the game so far...

It's a shame more ppl don't play in this tourney... its so fast you can get going quickly. Also surprised a lot more older players aren't in the uni... like from sfco days

Seems a lot of players I am casually talking to didn't realize it had already started and been up a few days when they joined. Thinking that this is the issue
