ABMs only get destroyed in taking out enemy missiles.

IPBMs only get destroyed if they are launched, they either hit or get taken out by an ABM.


The exception is that they may now be deconstructed.

Actually a member of my guild also has a runaway harvester, it's gone on a very long transport mission, and the fleet tab will not com up, it gives this message, "We're sorry, but something went wrong.  We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly."

A ticket has been submitted, but no access to the fleet tab for up to 26 hours (the one way time of this transport) could be catastrophic.

yeah there is a built in bashing rule, you can only hit one planet 6 times in a 24 hour period.

As soon as a ship has taken 30% hull damage it has a chance to be destroyed.  The chance to be destroyed each round is the same as the percent damage taken.  A ship that has taken 32% hull damage has a 32% chance of blowing up at the end of a round.  aT 0 level techs a plasma would have arounda 45% chance to blow an Athena out of the sky in 1 round if it hit one.

I've never had a problem with the 30% thing.  The only thing I have to offer is it's cumulative.  So if the attack was slowed down by 20% near the start of the attack then you only have 10% to work with later.  I've never had a problem with the 30%.  I've never cut it extremely close, but 25% I've done plenty of times.

EDIT:  During the last two minutes of an attack you can't slow down at all, you have to slow before the magic two minute mark.

Decent players unless spectacularly unlucky will only ever be probed by Empire, they aren't going to waste their time on a properly defended properly fleetsaved planet.  If you're lazy though or think you're safe then they'll show you different.  So will the other top players.  This assumes of course you haven't done something to actively piss them off causing them to just make your life miserable.
