I've calculated the mass (in tons) of one unit of ore ;)

I absolutly have to know this. I've wanted to know for a while, but have no math ability to figure it out with! Have you figured out crystal or hydrogen?

What's that symbol between "attack" and "espionage" do? I've never seen that before.

missile strike

Wow, I should have been able to figure that one out. Never thought of even getting one before, even though i'm ranked in the 200's. Everyone i've come across that I could use them on has ABM's by the truckload...

The colours of would-be allies are changing before the leader of the other alliance accepts the non-aggression pact.

I wouldn't want my members attacking someone who i'm trying to get an NAP with. That's probably what that's for.

When I have fleets our and use the fleets page all the numbers counting down slow my computer and iPhone. I think a moving game clock would do the same for the entire game, but yes, it is kind of annoying having the clock not move.

I think it would be cool to see the total build times of all the ships in your queue, so you dont end up building one that gets finished after you fleetsave for the night. I know I could add them up, but it would be cool to have a sort of timer for all of them, since I really try to avoid building through the night.

Its not much fun when they all go D at the first sight of you and you have to travel 30+ systems to attack sombody.

There's a guy by me that hits vacation mode every time I scan him...

I understand if you want to go D because of time constraints. Even people in the top 20 have to go to d mode sometimes, but people who are in perpetual D mode kind of annoy me. I cant believe that people who have the time to and want to play this game go d as soon as a bigger player sets themselves down right next to them. I was right next to Akkarin's colony in 3, he scanned me a lot, I always fleetsaved when I slept, I never messaged him after waking up to "Espionage Detected X6" (I know of idiots who would do that) and he left me alone. I play on my iPhone, and it takes no effort at all to deploy my fleet to my homeworld at 10% speed a couple times throughout the day either, so that helps. I started playing this game until I got Poseidons, got pummeled by a guy since I didn't know how to fleetsave, went into D mode, came out right before I had Hades. That was the biggest mistake i've ever made in a video game before.

On a side note, why can't we raid the taxes that people in D have on them? That would rule.

General Starfleet Discussion / Re: Surveys?
« on: December 09, 2009, 01:59:35 AM »
My first post sounded too much like a rant. It wasn't. I'm just wondering if anyone else has trouble with those surveys. I really would rather get credits without having to pay, but that's my next option I guess. It would be nice if there was some kind of survey that wouldn't kick you out.

I've played for a while already. I'm about to clear the #300 mark.

General Starfleet Discussion / Surveys?
« on: December 09, 2009, 01:38:44 AM »
Are they humanly possible to even complete? I need credits really bad, and I don't see why the surveys have to kick you out if you answer wrong. I wasn't aware that there was even such a thing as a wrong answer to a survey. They seem more like tests...

I have personally "taken" 20 surveys, answered honestly, and failed every single one after several questions. I think my personal record is getting to question 6 or 7, and several I have failed on the first question.

It's not like I need hundreds of thousands or credits either, I just need 20k to change my name in game because I didn't put any thought to it and it's very stupid, and enough to use the trade merchant every once in a while.

Yeah, I have a couple systems by me that have all (d) people on every planet. Kind of frustrating, especially since I too am surrounded by Empire guys who could wipe the floor with me.
