OK so hardly worth it.  Come out of noob status and get attacked 3 times overnight for production and when I log in I see a 4th attack, so I build a few defences and yeehah!  Gotcha!

Feature Suggestions / Limiting Hephs To Improve The Game
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:44:49 PM »
Game suggestion.

A Heph can carry 1 Billion in tonnage so attribute tonnage to every ships carried and deduct it from the 1 Billion total.  This ensures that Hephs have to be carefully loaded with a mixture of resources and ships.  Have you seen some of those sick bloated Hephs in for example X2?  Crazy ship numbers.

Make it more realistic similar to real Carrier Ops and limit what can be carried on a Heph.  This makes it more challenging for the Heph operator, makes Hephs more vulnerable and makes it far more realistic when it comes to mobile fleet ops.

Bug Reports / WTF? Is This A Bug?
« on: December 13, 2011, 11:14:01 AM »

Is this a bug or something new?  Also what's the point of having it above my planet when I am too high ranked to probe or attack it?

Extreme Universe / Back For Now
« on: November 12, 2011, 08:05:20 AM »
I have reactivated my X1 account and I am back at least for now.  No plans to go fleeting just rebuild the planets for now and after the New Year I'll take a proper look and see if X1 is still worth playing.

Extreme Universe / Quit
« on: October 01, 2011, 10:13:06 AM »
I am coming out of v mode and splitting my fleets up.  Then I'll warp them around and walk away.  My ships will be on various planets and my heph will just land somewhere.  I quit.

If you look at my planets over the next 24 hours all my ships will return.  I have quit X2.

Battle Reports / New Hope Recycled Debris Flushed
« on: August 13, 2011, 03:16:42 PM »
The good ship Colonic Irrigator III popped by a New Hope/UFP nest and landed in the middle.  After moving over to a drop colony the automated probes found a viable target.

A baby heph but accounting for the vast majority of his immediately available ships.  So I launched an attack whilst under enemy oracle coverage and from the very epicentre of their hostile nest.

Launching two fleets I struck!

A nice debris field and a significant profit.

I also scooped up all the debris.

Battle Reports / A Boomerang The Old Fashioned Way On Dean Lowe
« on: June 25, 2011, 05:59:11 PM »
Once upon a time before moons and Oracles made the game so easy, players had to work at a reverse ninja.

The story.

I landed out of system on the edge of a small nest and probed away whilst my drop colony was positioning.

I saw:

So I launched a slow attack and sadly Dean Lowe came online.  I then withdrew the attack.
By this time the last of my ships were landing on the drop colony.

So Dean amazingly decided to try and attack and launched an attack on my Heph and also a few attacks on my drop colony (later withdrawn).  I allowed the attack on the Heph however to continue unmolested and entered orbit about 20 seconds before the fleet hit.

I had calculated his return time and just a few minutes after the original attack would have landed I launched.
This attack was not about profit.  I didn't have the dios for the d/f and only collected a portion of it.  This was solely for the dsp so I consider it successful in that respect.

My original plan was to launch two attacks (one a boomerang), as I had calculated I did not have sufficient to destroy the Zeus but everything else would perish.  However he had an alliance colleague in system with sufficient ships to kill the proms I would have kept back for the second attack to land a few seconds after.  I had sufficient to take both fleets if he had received a group defend.  So I opted for the draw and allow the Zeus to survive.

As I have said he got most of the d/f and I honestly don't mind.  I got a significant jump in rank and my dsp rank is awesome (for me anyhow).

I manually locked him to about 2 seconds on his return and without Oracle coverage on my part.  So pleased I can still do this.

The DSP came to
Me: 390,656
Dean Lowe: 92,370

Original Universe / 11 Galaxies - Nice One BFG
« on: June 14, 2011, 07:57:41 PM »
After planning the moves for two weeks, our alliance like everyone else is in limbo and all because some numpty on the BFG payroll (or subcontractor) cannot count between 11 and 35.

I hope we all get two moves now to make up for this, as many are going to lose long cherished planned locations and until this is fixed, many players who plan specific planetary combinations are going to have their moves frustrated.

One example being to move a mooned planet to a low galaxy and replace it with a highly developed planet.

Getting reports of people unable to use Galaxy screen in Windows 7 operating system.  After clicking a couple systems or so the game crashes.

Support Rulings / The Willy Wonka Everlasting Heph
« on: May 01, 2011, 06:35:09 PM »
so here we are watching a heph in X1 that cannot ever be destroyed.  We are oracling an alliance attacking a heph and destroying it again and again and again, getting the d/f and the dsp but lo and behold, the heph is there for another attack.

Currently watching 4 separate attacks.
