Im a top 100 player with a noob question, lol

Can my probe spot a group defend?

you see all defenses at the planet but you can't tell who is who

Can we assume that inbound defenders fleets cannot be seen? I would think that only the loiterers would show up on the intel report. With good alliance communication and impeccable timing the group defenders could show up at the last moment and SURPRISE!  :lol:

If they are already group defending and you probe yes you can see them there it shows up in the report
