Title: What is a boomerang?
Post by: AbsolutZero on March 17, 2010, 03:18:14 AM
I managed to get ahold of the Empire's laundry list of alliance requirements (all of which, ironically, I already do except the part about a mandatory rank) and one of the "reasonable causes for fleet destruction" was a move called a boomerang.

What the hell is a boomerang? I know all the rest, slow probes, oracles, etc but I'm unfamiliar with this move (or I may know the move just unfamiliar with it's terminology).

Anyone know? More importantly, does anyone know and wanna share?

I'm not an expert, but I believe it involves chasing home an attacking fleet after it survives executing the attack.

I've done that before, didn't know it had a name. I always called it "stalking".

That or hand phalanx are the two names I've always given to it.
