Now I love a good math problem, and this game has given me some great opportunities to test my skills, but perhaps its time to introduce a new concept in the SFC universes.  Perhaps a precursor to the game we have now.  I really like the Kixeye format that is on fb these days, and think that this style game would do amazingly well for BFG.  Instead of the honey comb though, go with a 3 dimensional space giving 6 slots to attack a person's fleet with. (up, down, forward, back, left, and right).  You could even use this to link multiple players together, although I'm guessing that would take a few years as it would drag people's ram into whatever circle of hell suicides and adulterers are destined for.  Anyhow, upgrades to techs can affect ship's survivalbility rates, weapons' power, and range.  Each ship could have a certain fleet value giving people an opportunity to do swarm attacks, or specialty attacks with balanced fleets. 

This also gives a chance to deal with some conceptual weaknesses in the game particularly the loss of players as they loose their fleets.  Instead, destroyed fleets cost resources to repair, but by putting a cap on fleet value (dependant on a tech or Shipyard value) you minimize the risk of loosing a person's entire fleet to attacks.  as well you change the primary metric from Ore, crystal, and hydro, to time, although the previous are still secondary metrics and will be seen by most as the true primaries.  This would give BFG a real time strategy game where the player dictates the commands to his fleet regarding primary targets and logistical placement on the battlefield. 

To minimize the server space, the play has one main planet, but can capture 8 additional colonies with a predetermined mine level.  Once that colony is under their control, resources build up and are banked there.  The defenses will be predetermined by a RNG and mine level will determine the defense coefficient which is used to calculate defense level.  This can be further supplemented by the player's willingness to post fleets in that colonies orbit.  I'm tired so I'll stop here.  I've got to catch a flight in the morning.

I'm gone for one week, and people go bat sh!t crazy and forget that we have rules here?  We always have!  Laggy even gave me a warning when I had helped him out with Statistics homework that same week.  When did everyone start thinking this place is a democracy?  This is syria.  Step out of line, and you get shot in the face!

As the most inflamitory person in this game, I think it speaks volumes when I say take a walk around the block, and Chill out a bit.  Go d mode a week, and have a few drinks at the bar.  Get wasted, and take some random home with you.  Wake up the next day, avoid eye contact, and then cycle back out.  The rage you feel mean:

YOU ARE SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME ONLINE!

I think there should be an adult universe with no rules on language, threats in game, and extortion.

There should also be hookers and black jack. Hell and you don't even need a new universe.

But seriously, the hooker droid should should cost 18000 credits.

I guess you could also get half a crew point too.

09:02 PM UTC is a little confusing. Could we go with either a 24hr clock or the am/pm system?
I would say the 24hr clock since that is what the timer is in game.

As well a countdown bar would be nice too.

Ever since I slept with that pleasure droid, I've has this burning sensation when I pee. My junk is red and there seems to be a rash. Has anyone else had this problem with the She'll Fa Q pleasure bot?

I thought the first time I inactive ninja'd, that I had crossed the line...

Then I implanted a spy in an allaince

Then I did a DP...

Then I attacked people on my buddy list.

Then I changed my name, joined various alliances, and would send PM's out to people on my buddy lists when I saw information that would hurt someone.  (mostly people not being able to lift all of their res off of the ground)

Oh, I forgot!  Then I started an allaince named Al Qaeda, demanded the universe to convert to Islam.

So what's your line you crossed?

I am tired so this will be short and sweet. This will be an add on to the heph. It should cost a lot and only target 2 things. NPC's and hephs. For 1000000 hydro it fires a plasma ball at the same speed as a dip (so it's based on jet tech) which turns the ore and cry into 100% DF. It locks the heph down while in transit, but doesn't return.

Pluses for players.
allows small players to attack larger ones if they can catch them off line.
New tactics
More reason to target npc's
New toy

BFG pluses
More merchant trades
Gives players satisfaction that is instant
Raises opportunities for d moders to advance through poached df's thus preventing burnout.

I'm sure there are others bug im tired. I'll finish tomorrow.

I let the posi go through as I wanted more DSP because we are at war with this alliance.  His take was 0 war points.  Mine was 90!

My Converted infidels have nowhere to worship and comtemplate why there is no toilet paper.  We have a lot of money because all we have is hydro mines, but no toilet paper!  I need a Mosque to ask why this is.
