Universe 2 / Re: Game Glitch?
« on: July 07, 2011, 10:35:09 PM »
Several glitches ie;
example1:  when I send a fleet on a harvest or transport and I get a message saying I don't have 200 dinos. My thoughts to the message is "NO Kidding" That's because I just sent them out.

example2:  Fleet screen covering my oracle scan times for locking my prey. More than disgusted with that.  I know I saw that last month on another forum.

example3:  Screen jumping.

Support Rulings / Re: Bid you all Farewell due to poor ruling

Not sure why everyone is saying they would go for a complete fleet kill on this one.  Wouldn't that be the case if you kill the heph? If you kill the heph you kill the fleet that is returning as well. Lots of free debris with fewer losses.

Anyway you got hosed regardless of lag time.

I believe Morat's passion for the game and the individuals who play is evident. I also believe Matt is being stubborn or a "Turd in the Punchbowl". Not sure which but in either case Matt,  could you give the guy his game life back? The guy is a gamer and has dedicated a lot of time to forums and the game. I don't agree with everything everyone says on here but I value each opinion.

Next thread will be the "Where's the Ladle? Morat is in the Punchbowl" Thread  ;)

Feature Suggestions / Re: Give new players a break

I usually give newbs a break by only hitting them 3 or 4 times until they go inactive for me to farm.

Seriously I helped out with a training alliance and you just can't train the untrainable. Either they get it or they don't. Everything is in the wiki section. That's how the majority of us learned the game. Just sayin'

Simply, NO they are not moot.

When you can see activity around your planets in both directions and use your gates to increase your fleet size instantly, they are needed and more useful than ever. Pretty awesome when you can turn a farming fleet into a mega fighting fleet in the time it takes to to click warp. I love mine and I'm not giving them back.

I say Bravo Pharos!
How many of you have locked a hepher and got to kill it? Definitely smart plays by both sides. Bob-o played it right. Save what you can and keep playing.  ;)

General Starfleet Discussion / Re: Game changes June 16th (Extreme)

I'm almost certain this is my last visit to the message boards. I thought we were allowed to have personalities here while discussing these subjects. I'm sure that referring to MORAT as a "Turd in the Punchbowl" is offensive to someone out there but........BANNED......REALLY....just saying. What did he or anyone say that was so revolting?

Most of us are turds in the punchbowl. That's why we come to the boards to review, input different views and ask questions. We are not just happy to take someones word for it or say "oh Cool" when did they do that?

Matt, I'm not trying to get banned mind you, but just because you can ban someone for constructive criticism doesn't mean that it should be done. I have people whining at me daily in my job but just because you listen doesn't mean it has to be taken as a threat to your intelligence. Let them whine and try to find a middle ground.  I watch the message boards but don't always agree or comment.  I have noticed that the majority of the folks that are commenting are generally big players in the game and also very passionate about it. The little things do count.

SFC is very competitive and a lot of these folks dedicate a lot of there time and money to pay and play. If I slapped a "BAN" on every person who disagreed with me during the day I would be the one man alliance every one is talking about.

Everyone has bad days Matt, Please release the hounds.

Just say no.

Unfortunately I don't know how to post a screen shot
This only started to happen after I changed my options to set them in order in the universe......thank you for your input and glad I am not the only one having the problem.  Will just learn to live with it.

My planets and moons keep trading places on my fleet screen.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm becoming a bit ticked about it but have joked at times that my moons are orbiting my planets literally. One day a moon will be to the right of my planet and the next day on the left.

I'm with you Morat, dust off the router, bring in the beer and pizza let's rape some planets.
As my wife has told me, rape is a strong word. She likes to call it surprise sex. Cheesy grin.

I thought all of  you were my support group. We laugh, we cry, we give virtual man hugs and high fives. We keep the weak from commiting suicide by taking their ships before our troubled comrades do something drastic. I thought we were a family of SFC  groupies and now I am astonished that someone may be thinking of leaving the game for minutes on end for therapy. You do not have an addiction problem, repeat you do not have an addiction problem, repeat, you do not have an addiction problem.
You have O. C. D. LOL

Not to be off subject but Hamrock I'm all for your worm hole idea. Brilliant!
