questions about "Group Attack"
« on: November 14, 2009, 09:39:54 PM »
I think it was 2 days ago when SC began sending IGMs saying "Invite Participants to Your Attack" ... and that's when all the trouble started! >.> <.<

I have only been playing a short time, so don't hate on a newbie, but my question is: When I am sending an attack, and I don't click on anything that says "group" and I don't even click on the IGM (because I suspect merely clicking on it sends the request) that my attacks go out as a group attack? I don't want to do a group attack for only raiding my inactive neighbors, that's rather silly. So how does this group attack thing work, how do you control it? I must look like an idiot requesting a group attack on inactives without any defenses, but I can't figure out why it sends it when I don't ask it to.  :?

(in case anyone doesn't know, IGM stands for in game message)

It's a display issue. The BFG team is working on a better working system for group attacks.
It's not actually a group attack unless you invite other players. It just displays it as one currently.
