Zeus Defenders?

How feasible is to park a Zeus over your planet as additional defense? Or does a group/fleet attack render this massive ship just a bigger piece of fodder?

Quite feasible. I plan to add it to my arsenal...by, oh, December 2012.

How would someone go about proving that they had a Zeus? Or are they like the person who finds an "enhancement" product that actually works? (aka, no matter what they aren't believed.)

Send it on a bunch of fake attacks, so that there are eyewitnesses.

its very feasible, until someone comes at you with 173 Prometheus and recycles your Zeus.

Even 50 Promethium have a 75.9% chance of victory over a single Zeus.  23.9% chance of a draw.  Zeus wins out like .2% of the time there.  Assuming common Shield/Armor/Weapons tech levels.

However, if a Zeus is stationed behind a considerable defense it is more of an asset for defense than a hindrance.
This only works with VERY large defenses though.

I was talking more in terms of 10,000 Missile Turrets, 10,000 Laser Cannons, 1,000 Pulse Cannons, 1,000 Particle Cannons, 800 Gauss Cannons and 200 Plasma Cannons.

The chance of a ship striking the Zeus then would be 1/23,000. You'd need a lot of concentrated fire per round to take down the Zeus's shielding and a defense like that would greatly hinder that. On top of that, the Zeus would also fire back with punishing amounts of damage.

Remeber, Zeus needs level 11 weapons to be made. That makes it's attack power 420,000 instead of 200,000. Thats... just sick. Like 200,000 attack isn't enough or something!
