Drop down textbox
« on: October 26, 2011, 12:22:30 AM »
Seriously.....did we really need a two choice drop down textbox in order to delete messages?

I am not sure how many players out there have any programming experience, but doesn't it seem that many of the new changes being made to the game are very 'first year programming student' in appearance and functionality?

i agree it threw me for a loop the first time i saw it today when i went to delete my fleetsave messages. i think on a phone it will possibly speed things up so that may help but who knows.

I agreed with the OP when I first saw it, clunky and awkward. But having used it for a day it's actually quite elegant (at least for someone used to the message screen). It didn't change the page layout at all and it added a bit more functionality, so I'll say TY!

Much nicer...dual buttons for delete or mark as read. Appearance more professional. Thanks +1000 for the development group :)

Having the buttons back instead of the drop down menu = +1

Thank you to whomever pushed that through!!

In this case it's whoever (relative clause pronoun declines to match its case in the relative clause)
But I agree with the rest of the sentence...
I also appreciate the effort to properly decline a pronoun.
Elevas Sunchild, flooder fori and head of The Regiment
Moons owned - 14 (9 in O, 5 in 2)
Moons given - 36 (All on Purpose)
Best rank to date - 817 (SFCO)
First (in SFCO) to Energy Tech 17, I claim it!

Personally, I never decline a free pronoun.
