Thanks to tarak for initiating this treasure hunt which Time won. It is the most fun we ever had in SFCO.

So on Saturday we had the 3 missing colony locations and we figured out that the answer to the riddle was to add the 3 locations and divide by 3 to get the heph landing location. We figured that the heph would land sometime this morning so we had organize our team to i-hop yesterday morning to allow for the 24 hour cooldown.

The heph landed about 90 minutes after our cooldown expired this morning and this is the result. Maybe someone could tell us if this is the biggest debris field in SFCO history.

Young Dr. Young led an attack on Tarak at Derelict ‎‎[*:*:*].

I also want to thank Tarak for this great game within a game.  Nobody wanted your heph more than I did!   I usually read this message board frequently but someone saw your posting and told me about it.  I had time to plan what I was going to do.  First I looked in systems like 123, 222, etc.  Then I just started parsing entire galaxies.  I was in G19 where the first one was found.  I spent a lot of time looking for those planets.  When I had all three, I tried to think of 35 laundry lines (galaxies) each with 499 shirts (solar systems) with each shirt having 15 buttons (planet slots).  Well that was no help.  I worked out the difference in the numbers - no help.  Next was adding the numbers and dividing by 3.  I sure was happy that there was no remainders!  I sent the 3 planet locations to our heavy hitters and when one of them came up with the same location, the game was on.  I tried to move my planet and for some reason the charge wouldn't go thru.  I did a 2 hour frs and then made sure I could use paypal.  I was the last to hop in system.  I cancelled a building to get more resources to build more ships.  I wanted the shipyards to be busy when the heph landed.   It was a relief when I saw it at 3AM local time (thanks for the long day today).   The time was expected by the clue you gave.  30 hours from going inactive.
I know you said you were not going back online but I did send you some PM's as things happened.  If you have any ideas of how you would improve this if you were to do it over, please let me know.  You have given me ideas for how I will end my account.  Thanks again for the fun.  It was great to be apart of this.  Hopefully someone else will challenge me again.

Congratulations to the TIME alliance for having the skill and dedication to get the job done!  8)
It looks like everything went off without a hitch too. I assumed there would be planet hopping involved and possibly some interference running by competing players. Almost disappointed to see there were no twists but I admit I did get curious and restarted my brother's old account just to take a peek at how things were going a day before the scheduled landing.  ;)

It's been great playing with and against all the players over the years but unfortunately the game has just devolved past the point where there is anything left in it worth my time. I would have liked to be one of the last players to be online when the plug on O-Uni got pulled but it has simply been eating too much of my free time just to keep afloat and was getting too depressing watching my rank steadily drop as I became less active.

I'm glad to say that I played this game old school style with a great degree of skill and dedication and honor, made a lot of friends, blew up a lot of ships, plundered a lot of loot and had a lot of fun in my day; all without spending more than about $20 on the game in credits over my entire career playing. No offense to BFG or anything but I'd rather know that my achievements were the result of my hard work in the game and not the result of buying perks. Despite this I still became a feared and respected player for my ability to fleet save infallibly and fleet hunt effectively without relying on anything but my own brain and my allies' willingness to help and trust in my talent for planning a good hit while being fair to all who contributed. It's sad to go really but ironically I feel a lot better now knowing I no longer have to FRS and it is freeing up more of my time for more constructive RL pursuits so I'm glad the players appreciated the extra effort I put in to go out in true Tarak style.  :)

I also hope BFG learns a lesson here on what made this game truly great in the beginning and why the game is dying so quickly now. Best of luck to all remaining players who are still at it. Peace, love & i'm outta here!  ;D
