Another 'Suspicious activity'
« on: January 11, 2012, 09:42:52 PM »
I was just suspended from SFCO and Uni2 for 'suspicious activity' while I was typing in this forum.

Your account has been suspended.
You were suspended for: suspicious activity
Suspension lasts until Jan xx @ xx:xx PM UTC
Please contact us for more information.

I followed the contact link and asked for details of the suspension approximately 12 minutes after the suspension was imposed. I then checked on Zendesk and the tickets had been immediately closed by Matt Hirschfeldt, no further information was given.

I reopened the tickets, again asking for the detailed reason for the suspensions, and the tickets were again immediately closed by Matt with no further information given. I tried a third time, and within a few minutes the tickets were again closed by Matt with no further information given.

Is this normal procedure for a support request? How does a player suspended for 'suspicious activity' while they're sitting at their computer find out what the 'suspicious activity' is? Especially when their repeated requests for further information are immediately discarded?

Hmm... that is very highly unusual... I've never heard of that happening before - even known cheaters usually get told what they were suspended for?...

Of course, Matt won't be able to discuss the issue here, due to the company's privacy policy, unless you give him permission to speak openly about the subject first...

I'd be interested to hear about it too :)

(Also, don't take my post the wrong way, you know that I like you Morat, you're a damn funny guy - but I'd also really like to know why your were suspended in two separate universes, at the same time - that is very strange)

*I'd* like to know as well, but unfortunately Matt doesn't seem willing to tell me.

A clear case of multi accounting .. Having an account in both universes... Tsk tsk...

Bfg should tell you when they suspend you why they suspend you and provide a means to debate it with you...

"You were suspended for: suspicious activity" and then they wont tell you what!...whats up BFG cant think of a real legitimate reason and need time to think?...what a joke...and they wonder why they are losing players in all uni's....very sad.

I dunno. I've seen enough players complain about never finding out why they were suspended, and everyone assumes they're just protesting their innocence, but I'm being deliberately blocked from getting a reply by Matt H.

OK, I got a response by a PM from Matt on this forum, but I didn't receive a reply by email and Zendesk doesn't show a response either. Perhaps there's a problem with Zendesk?

I figured out the problem and have amended both tickets with the same information.
