Come play Uni 2 with over 105K players

Last ranked player listed => 3,277    Private: Class B Commodore Tucker       0

We seem to be missing over 100K players

SFCO has a worse boast. 867k players? I think not...
Elevas Sunchild, flooder fori and head of The Regiment
Moons owned - 14 (9 in O, 5 in 2)
Moons given - 36 (All on Purpose)
Best rank to date - 817 (SFCO)
First (in SFCO) to Energy Tech 17, I claim it!

I doubt there was 100K odd multi-accounts.

Some of them must have been normal <ta-DAH!>

OH NOOOOO... all those ppl have just disappeared. It's a BFG conspiracy. Stop worrying about the "false advertising" and start worrying about all those families missing loved ones! Personally I think BFG has implemented black holes in all unis without telling us. All those poor souls are either ripped apart into trillions of molecules, or they are now in another dimension. Either way, finding out what happened to them should be of the utmost importance in these hard times.

On another note, I'm sure some of those ppl had promised me their fleets, so I petition BFG to give me 15M DSP to soothe my worrying mind, as those ppl are never returning. I feel awarding me the DSP will help us as a community get over the loss of all these great souls. (patriotic music in background) I salute you sirs, the lost souls, the providers of DSP.....

4990 s/s x 15 slots = 74850  ;)
All that is needed is one colony each and we are 75% of the way there.

Heh, that's a point. 105K players with (say) 5 planets each is more than 7 times as many planet slots as there are in the Uni :D

I went into Vacation mode, in November, 2010. I just returned and reactivated in both SFO and UNI-2. All of my planets, obviously, had been erased and returned to the available pool for colonisation by more active players, my account, however, in both universes, was still there eagerly awaiting my return.

I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that even though I was gone, and my planets were gone, they were counting my account as a player, likewise they're counting not only the accounts of everyone else that has joined and left in the past but also every imaginary friend that joined up in order to boost the crew points of the many who had exhausted their supply of real friends (if any) and didn't want to wait for crew bots to complete.

That's my theory, a lot of imaginary friends converted by BFG into imaginary players.
