« on: April 09, 2012, 06:01:39 PM »
Starfleet Commander Extreme 1 and Extreme 2 will be offline Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 14:00UTC to 16:00UTC (game time) for scheduled maintenance. All tasks, including resource production, missions, and attacks, will continue to run while the server is offline. If additional news becomes available regarding this maintenance it will be posted on the forum.

We will be doing maintenance primarily in Extreme 2, but do to the sharing of servers and the load we will be creating all games must come down.

At the completion of this maintenance period the following updates should now be live.

  • The resources for a new account have been increased to 3,000 Ore, 1,500 Crystal, and 300 Hydrogen.
  • Low level NPCs have become more careless with their resources. Abandoned Cruisers and Abandoned Warships (except for Seekers) now have twice the resources available for plunder.
  • The flight software for the Shadow Probes has been updated and they can now be used against NPCs.
  • Basic Androids are now listed on the items tab of the store. They were previously only shown in the store if they were a popular item. However, they express their gratitude for making them a frequent listing in the popular portion of the store.
  • The bonus provided by the Construction Engineer has been corrected. He was working faster than his stated speed and the Intergalactic Labor Union does not allow such things.
  • The badge Allied Aggression no longer incorrectly requires the Defender to be in an alliance for it to be earned.
  • Due to a number of complaints, the intergalactic mail service will no longer notify you when you receive a stackable badge that you have already received.
  • Probes can no longer plunder resources.
  • Numerous fixes have been made to the fleet screen so that ships can properly be deployed, transported, and warped.
  • Having too many unassigned workers will no longer prevent you from building or upgrading buildings. However, we recommend that you put some of the workers to use as soon as the building is complete.
  • Human workers are no longer obscured by a broken image.
  • We've replaced some employees at the Intergalactic Registration Bureau. There should no longer be any problems when attempting to change your name in game.
  • Images for neutrality markers have been fixed. The correct images were not always displaying in the lucky draw and items page.
  • The display for the tech tree has been updated. All text was so 2010.
