Ignorance of the rules is no defense? Seriously .. the rules are more scattered than a bus load of Bill Clinton clones in a cigar factory.  There is NO WAY anybody could keep up with the multitude of rule changes and implied changes that it would take wikipedia a month to compile.

Heres a thought though - post the rules IN THE GAME, ALL OF THEM, and then put one of those cute little in game notices up when they get modified.

“And he who wields white, wild magic gold is a paradox. For he is everything and nothing. Hero and fool. Potent, helpless. And with one word of truth or treachery, He will save or damn the earth. Because he is mad and sane. Cold and passionate, Lost and found”

The rules can be found on the forum under the 'Game and Forum Rules' section at http://forum.playstarfleet.com/index.php?topic=15605.0

The can also be found in game by clicking the 'Rules' link at the bottom of any of our games.

Notices were posted in game and on the forum the last time the rules were modified.

Obviously I am not the only person here who cant keep up with the rules continually being modified. I play this game for the fun of it and I don't like your attitude or the manner of your position here.

I refuse to accept you keeping those other players suspended for what was done in open ignorance whilst many dishonest players skirt the rules intentionally as a matter of practice and get away with it. How long their suspensions are is beside the point, as it is a matter of principle.

I see the suspensions still haven't been removed so I will be deleting my nova account once my hep lands in a few minutes and that'll be me finished with this game completely because of your poor handling of this situation.

so i guess the only way to quit now is by deleting your planet with fleet on it, or sending an frs and not telling anyone when its coming back....and if you only tell some players, that would be cheating as well...i think what we need is a rule that tells us how we can quit!
suck it up monkey boy!

While we'd hate to lose any player, if you wish to quit then stop logging in to your account and it will be deleted after 35 days of inactivity.

They will likely show him discretion seeing as he throws a fair amount of cash at the game - seems to be the way it works

I'm going to lock this thread. Violations of the game rules occurred and players were suspended for those violations.
