The problem I've been facing is all the NPC near my planets within 40-50 systems all have the same or 50% less the amount of Zeus I have myself.  Leaves me nothing to hit, and it's been like this for weeks now.  FN sucks!

Well it does not matter how many people we get to complain... BFG is BFG and they will not do anything because there are still morons paying them money for this terrible game. Game use to be fun when you could hit the npcs for insance profit... now they are trying to get you to replace your zeus therefore spending more on hydro... which is retarded.

What is the fun in hitting NPCs for insane profit all day, every day? That's like punching a baby. They can't fight back and you know you're going to win the fight.

NPCs should help you build ships to attack players (an actual challenge and, in my opinion, more fun). They shouldn't be the only thing you're doing in the game.

There is one thing that I'd really like. To bring back the old fashioned NPCs. Do you remember? The ones that gave you 25K DSP max? These were just great.
You could hit them and build your fleet. But you'd also reach a point where you'd have to do PvP if you want to catch up with the top 50.
And these NPCs would also bring back the NORMAL numbers!!! I don't want to play a game where I have some 94179490335804753874 shit that noone can read or comprehend anymore!
If there was an uni with these old fashioned NPCs, I'd join immediately and leave everything else behind.

that not the point the point is that there spawn from the big guy or guys and that were they spawn i have three worlds now that i havent seen a big one 50 system away from them and that been for ABOUT 6 MONTHS NOW?? I SAY IT NOT FAIR THE WAY THEY SPAWN JUST AROUND THE BIG GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY SHPULD SPWN RADOMY THEW ALL WORLDS AND LIKE  JASON SAID

Gamma I'm sorry but "Normal" NPC are you really qualified to comment.  I've been watching the NPC's change since day 1.  There is no thing as normal they take the composition form the higher rank players.

They have really helped in building a few ships.   As for Matt's comments PvP I normally only hit Hephs left out but will attack players.

Hunting players is harder obviously and also for me some are now not worth bothering with....  For every player I could potentially annihilate would be one less player in the game.

Npc are made to build your fleet... why the hell do i want a challenge hitting the npcs when i want to build up so i can do pvp and get a challenge doing that... I havent hit a npc in over a month because you fun tards think you know how to run a game. You can go fun yourself

Well until they change the places they spawn i'm not gong to lo0k for them in g9,g8,g7, and g3 i mean why should i there is never one there!! and they are far qaway from the big dog   lol  but it sad i use to fine them there some places over 6 months ago  :-(  it sad that they are helpong the big guy and not al of us i mean it not fair the way they do it  :-(

Everyone is building zeus like mad to hit these.  Sending 5Billion dions over 80 systems costs a lot of hydro.....

What you guys really want is just a pile of res. Attackable with probes.
And what would be even cooler is if the DFs should be harvested just by clicking at them instead of sending all those H heavy dios.

I strongly agree, Boris, Theo, Richhawk and Coolhand.

Adding NPC's to this version was a fairly decent idea. Challenging to down right unapproachable. Then Challenging with plenty of losses. Then the ever-so-lovely zero NPC's. The current line up doesn't pass for BFG's customers, I believe.

The two examples, above, and one that I am adding are the upper range now-a-days with those like Coolhand's not showing signs of being random and are, generally, about in the same ares.

We ARE paying(those that are able), consistent customers none the less. Customer service would be best served keeping one's customers returning even if there are newer versions of a product to be had.

Most of us here are dedicated to this version and are due consideration from the proprietor.

Yes, challenging and, specifically, at random locations. The sweet ones are, or the most part, in the same areas and are present daily. I haven't seen any around me in about two weeks or so, maybe three.

They spawn pretty much as per the wiki - 100 systems around #1 - everyone can attack them with zeus with varying results.


Those who thought about things have adapted those who have sat and done nothing tend to complain.

I complain to BFG when the spawn engine appears broken (if there is such a thing)

The NPPPC's constantly change we all have to adapt to that.

For me it's simple more zeus and dions more cash to BFG - that is the curse for playing same as conquest.

I must take this opportunity to thank Pantin for his constructive post.  I doubt he plays this anyway those who know me know I will launch my ships much further at targets.  An 80 system attack and an idea of hydro costs is an example that happens regularly but you always get a muppet trawling the boards when having an adult conversation.

In my opinion we are all accomplished players, yes we can be got, (well most of us, top 4 or 5 excluded), but the NPC's are the only thing you can hunt when everyone's toys are accounted for. And if the "soft" ones only spawn within the top player (Boris) why not just do away with the other 300 systems per galaxy. I do not mind losing a few Zeus, but all other NPC's are not worth the losses even if they are plundered, IE, losing 10 zeus for 3m in dsp and less than 5m in dro plundered, 80k in dios, not a win. I do spend an average of 40 dollars a month to merc for dro, and do p mode at times I build ships or do not want to frs lol, I'll average 5 hours during the week and quite a bit more during the week, and do FRS my toys

even this is a bit better, but not worth the time to go after with zeus, if it was a "soft" one it would be, the zeus are usually outrageous and sure most that spawn just eat probes and no one would attack it. although this one is doable, I still lose some zeus, and surely cannot hit it with my cap ships without more losses than gained

I would just like to see some like these for my time that I can kill with little or no losses, so I can grow at the pace I play.

Even when I get a chance to be first in line on the "soft" ones, I can barely scratch it, and some are not "soft" at all to me with my zeus count, but if I had 100k more it would be, go figure

The question i have is:  why did they use to be in 9:400_453  there sue to be over 6 months ago and that is no were close to boris and he has been #1 for some time???????????????? if they spawn 100 system from him????????????  is that just a fluke then   lol  dam.BFG!!!!!!!!
