lol you know the more you badger the longer it will take be patient and it will come online in the as soon as they find the issue... It's IT stuff this can take a few minutes or hours to fix...

He's doing his best and that's good enough for me, at least this game doesn't hang as much as Star Trek Online.

As much as I am also upset that the game is suffering from a problem, people get a grip.  I am sure that BFG is doing what they can, and that they care about their customers.  If it goes on too long, I'm sure they will take steps to make sure things are made right.  As a precaution, I am FRS'ing my fleets (which still works) and I suggest y'all do the same and cut them some slack.

We've been together for 2.5 years now. As all of you should be aware of by now, I'm not a programmer. I'm not a server administrator. I personally cannot fix the server when it crashes. I personally cannot write, modify, update, change, or in any way edit the code for the games. What I can do in these situations is find developers, wherever they may be on a Friday night after midnight, and attempt to get them to a computer with internet access as quickly as possible so they can assess the server. The number of developers with direct access to live production servers is pretty limited which makes getting someone to fix the game a little more troublesome. However, I've made contact with one of the developers that may potentially be able to access the live production server and he's doing what he can to eliminate the problems.

Ok Matt can you put suspend pvp attacks or give everyone a 24 marker so we don't have to wait all night for it to be fixed ? I have half my proms out so fleetsaving is out for me and I can't wait hours to be fixed . Got work in the morning so need to get some sleep real soon .

fleets are still hanging as of 05:41 UTC. Now that it's been acknowledged I am hoping that means that protection delay will be enabled as it's obviously not an "individual" problem.

Yes, I appreciate the update and your diligence, Matt. In the mean time how about another pvp safety marker for a bit. For that I would be willing to forgo the expletive. It's a win/win!
