The speed makes the mines produce faster.

so why does a formula that doesn't include the speeds work for base production and then base production with geologist but not when you add droids on top?

mines produce at a rate not increase of speed like ships go faster if that makes sense or am i missing something?

There is no reference to speeds on the wiki page for mine production in nova

I know a guy that has found the correct formula, however he asked me not mention his name and do not share the information with you guys...

Speed corrections where introduced in Nova, both for ships and mines, that was done by BFG in order not to change much code, but just adding a "K factor" to all formulas. In fact several formulas shown in this thread are "wrong", just to simplify it.

You can PM me in Skype if you wish to discuss the topic

The speed makes the mines produce faster.

i think you are missing what I'm getting at; the mine formula is spot on and doesn't include speeds of the uni - so either the formula on the wiki is wrong but still arrives at the correct answer or there is an issue with droids?

if BFG could post the correct formulas so we can see and test that would be ideal and solve every issue ???

in that case it would appear that the game wiki is wrong

Yes, yes, there's little doubt that the wiki is wrong on this.  It's also wrong on many of the other formulae, including ones originally posted by BFG.  In general, they give results that are close, but off by rounding errors.

Supposed workers’ effect on building times, with a round down in the middle (universe speed not really addressed):

Travel time calculation with double round up (supposedly matches FatBuddha's well-tested code):

Just to be clear, I retract what I said about only rounding at end.  The reasons I mention the other ones is that (a) they're also wrong on the wiki and (b) they show what BFG formulae look like.

Again, this is what BFG (Matt H post to wiki) said the mining formula for Crystal (for Nova levels < 30, which are the same as Eradeon) is:

FLOOR(20*LEVEL*(1.14^LEVEL)+10)*(3600/2700))

... which is syntactically incorrect (extra close paren)...

I believe you're saying this gives the right formula with Geologist:

FLOOR((20*LEVEL*(1.14^LEVEL)+10)*(3600/2700)*1.1)

... to be continued ...
