Since you clearly don't know what happened, allow me to inform you about what I know.
Doom sent out an "I quit" message to all of his buddies.
I was watching very closely 7 days after that, but to no avail.
15 days after "I quit" he went "i"
I had FRSed early that day, much to my chagrin, so I got nothing.
A member of LOL saw "i" and took out Doom's Heph, and got a couple of his smaller planets.
I was able to build a probe and set up a GD on his main fleet, just in case.
Big Bad Bob saw the "i" and sent a MAC
The next day, Doom went back into D-mode, sent me a message (pissed he forgot to log in), and threw me a few mill in res. I was expecting to watch closely again after 7 days.
BBB's MAC landed, but Doom was already in D.
a couple days later, Doom came out of D, and I was able to get a probe on the GD, and, about 8 hours later, picked up 76k in DSP.
BBB teamed up with Carbon to take out Doom's fleet.
So, while it could have been set up, I don't think it was.
More likely, Doom just said F-it, and BBB was already there.
