True dat. It's a good idea to stockpile as much hydro as you can relatively early. YOU WILL NEED IT FOR LATER STAGES OF GAME.

How do you stockpile it? I pinged the guy that attacked me and he like the resources I was "stockpiling", so is there a safer way than having them sitting on your planet?

Looking at the Battle Report:
Wave #1:
Artemis Class Fighter - 111
Apollo Class Fighter -  80
Hercules Class Cargo - 8
Poseidon Class Cruiser - 6
Athena Class Battleship - 5

Wave #2:
Artemis Class Fighter - 111
Apollo Class Fighter - 75
Hercules Class Cargo - 8
Poseidon Class Cruiser - 5
Athena Class Battleship - 4

Seems to be a huge fleet to me, but I dont know...Is this what you would consider a huge fleet? Attacker is in the 4000 place range. Should I be trying to build a fleet of this size?

Its a big fleet of cannon fodder......Lol Arty's FTW!!!

You keep it moving on hercs or dios. It's easier to do it on dios and send it on the harvest option. It will make a roundtrip with out droping it off anywhere but you planet when it gets back. If you are finding it hard to keep your resources safe and moving all the time then you might want to get a planet that is far away form anyone who can attack you. I had to do it and I sent it 35 galaxies away. I built up my research out there and then set up permenant base to attack people my own rank. I still have my homeworld but it is standing allone and well protected.

Good luck.
