poeticmotion: You know what will happen if I oracle-lock you?

Absolutely nothing. I\'ll cuss a few times, mutter "holy crap, I\'m not even going to battlecalc that" and have nightmares about 10000 capitol ships descending upon my homeworld.

I can see becoming a massicists could be a mission select.. people asking there friends to attack them just to build moons.. all very interesting... no new tech for original starfleet..does this mean they are abandoning it.. no upgrades planned? Game will get stagnant!

It already is stagnant, went back and looked just now, 50-70% of them are Dip now, it's dead - there are just a lot of people who can't hack starting again which I can kind of understand

Couple of questions on Moons:

1) How long does the debris need to be around to get the moon to form? (already asked, but I am asking again)
2) If an attack is sent against a planet that already has a debris field, will the existing debris also be included in the cacluations on whether a moon will be formed?
3) Will multiple attacks give you multiple chances to form a moon?
4) Is there a set number of fields that are generated from the moon, or is it random?
5) If the field number is random, will we be able to abandon a moon and then try to reform one?

1. Happens instantly or not at all
2. No, only the debris from a single attack is calculated in the moon chance. However, it is common as the Uni ages to see waves of LFs coming in.
3. Yes, provided they create a DF big enough to generate a chance.
4. All moons come with exactly 1 field.
5. See above. You need to build Lunar Bases to get more fields.

Brute Force, if its not working, you\'re just not using enough.

Thnx.  Would you consider the chance of a moon being formed to be somewhat of a detterent to attacking a large standing fleet?  I mean, you now have a chance of helping your opponent in these cases.

Is field size and moon size the same?

HONEYBEE MALES: DURING COPULATION THEIR BODY EXPLODES APART LIKE GRENADE; GENITALIA HAS HOOKS AND SPINES AND IT WEDGES INTO FEMALE AND SEALS HER OPENING.

You still recycle the DF.

Having a moon isnt a win. You still need to play. I smash plenty of fleets sitting on moons in OG.

And Aria, fields are what you make buildings on, planets have fields, Homeworld starts with 163, for example. Moons start with 1 regardless of their actual size.

Size is what is used to determine the chance of the moon being destroyed by a Zeus.
