bugged

ever notice when you send a fleet on attack and before you hit the target you send a probe 10 sec before fleet lands and you get lagged out or page refuse to update? well i hope BFG would fix this bug soon, probing before fleet landing is a must to prevent ninja....so far it has happened to me twice, lost entire fleet twice due to this.

10 sec before fleet landing and it's not even a big fleet to being with!
think about those with super fleet size, man they would sure be pissed if they get ninja'ed that way

You need to learn to slow probe. 15 minutes before the battle occurs you are absolutely safe. There is no player in the game who can group defend in that amount of time. At 15 minutes you can slow the attack by 30% to 18 minutes. That gives you 3 minutes to see if a group defend is there. If you keep probing a planet it is near impossible to hide the fact that a ninja is there if you probe 2-3 times within the last minute.

HONEYBEE MALES: DURING COPULATION THEIR BODY EXPLODES APART LIKE GRENADE; GENITALIA HAS HOOKS AND SPINES AND IT WEDGES INTO FEMALE AND SEALS HER OPENING.

Just out of interest, is there a way of slowing your group defend on the way in if you see someone has slowed their attack?

Something to consider, after using Aaron's necessary advice, is that the server glitches when intense activity occurs. Every time it's happened to me has been as I hit a big target, or as the target does something big. A large incoming GD will sometimes lag the server. I saved myself once so far by recalling when my probes got hung up on a dangerous target 2 minutes from impact after a probe slow. Another time the target was no risk, but he came online in the last 6 minutes before I struck. My probes were hung up, but I KNEW he couldn't beat me, so I let it go. Turned out he dumped the 5 mil ore/crystal storehouses directly into massive defences (he didn't have anywhere near enough cargo ships) in a panic. I still got the million hydro I was most looking for though, so it didn't bother me too much.
He should have built ships. :P

The only way is to time the GD to come in after the attacks original landing. It's pretty risky though.

Thanks, that makes life a bit easier... I've been worried about someone seeing me slow an attack and having the time to slow their defensive fleet up in return... It gets a bit hectic when you're launching your slow probe just two minutes before the attack...

Theoretically if they have tons of ships to group defend with they could send them in waves. Each wave is big enough to kill your fleet and they work to recall the ones you'd see with a probe after a potential slow attack...

But that's being paranoid... Right? ;)
