"You may only queue up to 100 ships at a time"

what is the point of this? i could understand if it was a 1k limit but 100?? now if i want to build 1k arts i have to load the page 10 times... i read most the suggestions and funny ive never seen this... come on bfg add some decent updates while you still have people playing...

BFG is in the business of d*cking over everyone lee.

They d*ck over the raiders with limits like this.
They d*ck over the alliances with limits on GDs.
They d*ck over the casual gamer with encouraging under-handed game play
They d*ck over the hard-cores by restoring fleets that shouldn't be restored

They need to figure out who their target audience is -- and satisfy them.  Pick the people they make the most money off of, and pony up to those people -- but right now the screwing everyone policy just leaves them holding the ball and no one to play with.

Is it really that big of a deal?  Is it a game breaker for you.  Does it make you want to smash your keyboard?

If yes is the answer to any of the above maybe Farmville is the game for you.

I play this game specifically because it is NOT farmville.  Having to click buttons dozens of times for no purpose when before all I had to do was queue up once is closer to farmville then what we already had.

For non-"Big Fleet" players, sure, its no big deal. I assume you fall into that category? Maybe you should consider that there are styles of play that are more affected by such a restriction? When you want to build 1000's of Arties, you want to be able to do it with relative ease. Having to sit there, and type in 100 over and over ... come on, BFG.

no, no and no... however it is f#£&ing anoying... sure not as anoying as farmville is clicking hundreds of times (played that rubbish for like 2mins before getting bored) but still puts me off building ships and in a space game if you dont build ships whats the point in playing...

its just one more stupid change in a long line

yogi, if I may ask an honest question...what is your rough ranking 0-500, 500-1500, etc etc.

I would have to bet that you are either in diplomacy or above the 1500 rank, not to bash that, but just by the fact that this doesn't seem to bother you as much as if you had the resources to easily que more ships than 100.

sorry, doesn't bug me that much...I couldn't queue up more than 100 arties without it taking 30 or more seconds to load it anyway...and really, just put in 100, go do something else for a couple minutes...send out a few probes..come back put in a hundred more, check your espionage reports, put in 100 more send harvestors if you found a good hit, put in 100 more, send more probes, put in 100 more check the reports, put in 100 more...if its time, launch your attack...put in 100 more....etc...really not that big a deal

be happy you can play the game during your lunch...some people can't...still isn't a big deal to me...and yes, I do queue up over 1000 ships sometimes...but I have always had to do it in groups of 100 otherwise I got locked out

We're working on a fix so we can remove this limitation. It's a temporary patch to keep the game running smoothly while we make it so that you can queue unlimited numbers of ships without locking the game up.

One of the things we've added to this game that is new to this genre is the ability to drag and drop ships in the queue to reorder them. The problem with that is that it means we have to create a separate task for each ship, thus queuing up a few thousand Artemis (which happens frequently) bombs our servers.

Fixing this is on our high priority list. I can't say when it will be done, but I think it will be soon.
