no worries
we all have days like that
i woke up the other morning after falling asleep at keys waiting for dinos to come home after an attack and cleanup
had 15-20 sec to frs against an attack that was incoming
plenty of time you would think
only problem was body didnt want to play
couldnt move mouse properly
so all i could do was watch a nice 23mil df form in front of my eyes
was sooo funny
but at least i got a moon out of it
albeit an expensive one

sucks to lose that much, but at least you got a moon, I have probably spent more than that TRYING to get a moon and nothing yet.....getting kinda ridiculous....nearly 25 failed attempts in original and now 12 failed attempts in extreme

yeah i know what you mean
i have tried 12 times in extreme
didnt bother in original though
wasnt bothered about losing fleet
way i see it it is all part of the fun
if you win its fun
if you lose its fun
it is only when nothing is happeneing that it gets boring

This was me.  a few million resources, a Zeus, and not enough ships to transport it away in time will go a long way.  Also helps to have a high enough espi that they don't see your buildings.

As far as protecting against a warp ninja... Make sure you know where all of their moons are and watch for activity.  It's very hard because it's instantaneous.

one "s" thanks ;)

And yeah, had I had the quick reaction time I could have fleetsaved all the non-combat ships, but I was so focused on being stealthy I decided it was way worth it to lose a few.

Nothing yet.  I had to go (d) due to RL.  Looks like Billy's going to Georgia for work in a week so not much fun there.  I guess I could play while there but I'll be working 12 to 14 hours a day and not knowing my schedual.  I did however get a regular ninja from a rage attack on another colony by using dios with no fuel.  I like them best as bait because it looks like my dio fleet just came back after a FRS and nothing to send it on it's way.
